Ed Henderson is a fifth-generation dairy farmer who takes playing the trombone to the next level.

A jazz musician who plays in a 17-piece band, he always has a reliable audience for his impromptu gigs-his music-loving herd.

CNN’s Great Big Story was so intrigued by Henderson’s cow concerts, they recently visited Shenandoah Dairy in Live Oak, Florida, to catch one.

“Playing for my cows started out as just a fun little experiment,” says Henderson, “but once I saw their reaction to me and a trombone, I knew they would really get a kick out of listening to an entire brass ensemble.”

Last November, Florida Dairy Farmers filmed Ed and his band during the famous cow concert that started it all.

See below to watch the original video of Ed and his jazz band playing for the herd, who know how to get down and MOO-ve.
