October FCW Report

I always love sitting on the front porch in the fall sipping on my morning coffee hearing the sounds of a new batch of heifers  being weaned.  Life is good. By now most of us have sold calves and are weaning heifers and preparing for our winter feed programs. We  just had our fall quarterly, which was a great meeting. Thanks to all that attended.

Florida Cattlemen's Sweetheart 2018, Elizabeth Tauchen

In fact, more industry harm was done by a sensational and irresponsible article by Consumer Reports – “What’s Really In Your Meat?” – published this week that purports to analyze the amounts of banned

Florida Cattlemen's Sweetheart 2018, Elizabeth Tauchen

Hello everyone, My name is Elizabeth Tauchen! I am very excited to start this journey as your 2018-2019 Florida Cattlemen’s Sweetheart. My love for the beef industry began when I was growing up on our family ranch. Because I was homeschooled I had a lot more time to be involved in the day-to-day activities of ranch life. I was constantly out playing with the horses,
