FCW Report April 2018

The State Fair ended with all 12 days having county cattlewomen represent our industry. Serving beef sausage, steak bites and their own favorite beef recipes. Along with delicious samples, consumers were given valuable information about food safety and nutritional facts. Thank you to all the ladies that came out and volunteered.

May is Beef month and May 1st is Ag literacy day. This is the day for farmers, ranchers and agriculture representatives to go into elementary classrooms and read to students about our industry.

Please send in your application for outstanding cattlewoman. The application is due May 1st and can be found here.

The convention is right around the corner, so make plans on joining us at the Omni June 19-21.
