Each year young Cattlemen from around the state are selected to be a part of this indepth Florida industry tour, visiting some of Florida’s best ranches. They not only get a chance to interact with the industry leaders but with each other as they form lifelong friendships.
Junior Florida Cattlemen:
Our JFCA kids are some of the strongest in the country, consistently competing and placing high on the national level in many of the junior events such as quiz bowl, team marketing, photography and more.
University of Florida Livestock Judging Teams:
As the land grant university in the state, the University of Florida has a strong animal sciences program. They also have some talented livestock evaluators who travel the country competing in livestock competitions. We know that in addition to learning about beef, they are learning to give reasons and meet industry contacts in other parts of the country that could lead to jobs an opportunities beyond their college years.
