Florida Cattlemen's Foundation

Overview

The Florida Cattlemen's Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) corporation founded in 1999, is dedicated to the preservation of the history, heritage and ideals of Florida cattlemen and to the enhancement of beef production and marketing practices for future generations.

The Foundation's support of education, research, and facilitation of leadership programs will ensure and enhance the Florida beef industry. It will keep the rich heritage of cattle ranching viable and progressive in the years and generations to come through a variety of methods:

Beef farmers and ranchers have invested more than $28 million in ongoing beef safety research and programs since 1993. As a whole, the industry collectively spends more than $550 million each year on testing, interventions and other safety strategies.
