I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Time is flying by. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by and how close we are to Convention. We have been so busy in Tallahassee! First, I got to attend the National Foundation for Women Legislators reception at the Old Capitol, where they had a delicious Fresh From Florida reception. There I got to interview

A  lot has happen-ed since the last time I wrote an article. In March I was able to show my market steer and my show heifer at the Florida Strawberry Festival. After that, I traveled to Tallahassee with my family to take part in the Legislative Quarterly. This is one of my favorite events throughout the year. I love being able to talk to congressman

Hello everyone! What a busy month!! First I went to Lincoln High School in Tallahassee. I got to present to seven of their culinary classes and talk about BEEF! They loved the presentation and seeing pictures of Brahman bulls, real cowboys, working dogs and Florida’€™s beautiful ranches. We discussed nutrition, cooking, myths, and some fun recipes. These are some of my favorite types of events

I am excited to kick off this New Year with you! I have a lot to look forward to including more rodeos, high school presentations, and our Boots On The Hill event in Tallahassee. I hope there will be lots of cowboy hats and boots around the capitol! I am also planning to speak at two high schools in Tallahassee, one being my alma mater.

Hello again! I hope everyone has had a great Christmas, New Year’s and winter calving season! I can’t tell you how happy I am to see new babies being born in our pastures. There’s nothing that is prettier than riding the pastures at sunset and seeing the calves prancing around and nursing on their dams. I always like to pick out which ones will be
