2011 Ranch Rodeo Finals Winning Team - Reigning Champion

Orange County Cattlemen's Association Team

teamThe Orange County Cattlemen’s team consists of a husband and wife, and three top hands. All five members love Ranching and Rodeoing and agree this is an awesome opportunity to put it all together in competition. Chuck and Angela Mack live in Christmas with their two precious youngins’, Makayla-13 and Samuel-4. They have been in the cattle business since they were married in 1992, and despite a few disagreements in the cow pens—like parting cattle and the best way to work a cow dog, they are still in it (ha-ha)! They even used to team rope together, but now spend most of their time taking Makayla to Junior Rodeos, in fact, Samuel thinks his full name is Samuel Casey Mack from Junior Rodeo!! They are really excited to be here, especially since Chuck really needs a new saddle, and Angela will need oxygen after the calf branding!!

Charles “Corky” Paschal is an Agriculture/ Animal Science teacher in Martin County. After graduating high school, he day-worked for several ranches across the state and ended up in Texas when he determined he had the experience, and was just lacking the money and a piece of paper to venture on his own. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in 1999. Since then, teaching has afforded him the time off and schedule to run a cattle and agriculture construction operation, with his cousin Jody Modine. He is still day-working when time allows and helps family and friends.

Jeremy Hester is from Lakeland. Jeremy loves to travel and spends most of his time competing in the Southeastern Circuit rodeos. He and his partner are currently sitting in the eighth position in Team Roping. Besides going to rodeos, Jeremy shoes horses, helps local ranchers with their cattle operations, and you can see him at the Cattlemen’s Livestock Market auctioneering. Jeremy is one tough roper and good at starting young rope horses, or tuning finished ones.

Kenny Raney is from Polk City and has grown up in the ranching business. His dad is an auctioneer and even owned a market at one time. Kenny continues to spend his time doing what he likes the best, day-working for various ranches and starting colts. Kenny is also a good hand at roping. He can head or heel and has won numerous awards, recognition and money doing so. His most favorite ranch rodeo event is the wild cow milking!!
